RoLIA Research Officer, Laura Hicks was invited by the Riverina Social Science Teachers Association (RivSSTA) to present at their legal studies teachers workshop in Corowa. Laura presented on the rule of law and family law (the presentation slides may be accessed by following this link). Also presenting at the workshop was Mr Wayne Gleeson, a recipient of the Rule of Law Teaching Excellence Prize.
The event was very successful and attracted teachers from the majority of schools in the Riverina. Event organiser, Jane Sandral of Corowa High School should be congratulated on organising such an excellent conference.
